Shortly after the Prom Announcement

[Well, as someone from the same world, Radley gets the dubious honor of being on Carly's 'calling list' when things like this happen.

And so, she sends in a voice message.] Radley~!

I think I just missed you, ah well. If you've been paying attention to the news, ~Prom~ is coming up! It's a really neat event every time it happens, so I hope I'll see you there!

[Radley has to chuckle in amusement at the message.]

So ... it's a really neat event in spite of all the angry Pokemon, possession, and Team Rocket stealing Pokemon that seem to end up crashing it?

Ooof! Those are all eleventh hour events! And honestly there's enough of us around with Gyms of our own that you can just sit back and enjoy a good show depending on what happens this time around.

Trust me~ These aren't events to miss~!

I say that as someone who experienced the 'Kaiju-pokemon' prom, hehe.

[Radley isn't convinced and thinks he would be fine with missing those kinds of shows. But ... he does worry about his friends. Carly's the only one he's made who has a Gym.]

Hi! This is Hunk. Uh... I've been workin' on my menu and I know you had some ideas for dishes. I've got some really basic dishes and some great pun names so far. So, just let me know if you're still up for it!

Awesome! Here are the basics of the menu. [He sends a picture, so Radley can suffer at the punliness.] Maybe we can get together in a little while in Goldenrod or something.

Hey, that's really cute. Everything looks appetizing and the names are clever. I'd be happy to get together.

Radley? It's Kaiba. We've finally made it to Goldenrod, and someone wants to visit you.

[ He'll surely recognize the happy voice of a young Eevee on the other end of the line. ]

Is the café open?

It sure is! Come on over!

[Eevees call out in delight from his end of the conversation.]

[ It's not long before Kaiba arrives, with a small female Eevee tucked in his arm. She's sporting a silvery-blue ribbon on her left ear (his favorite color), and he checks that it's in plalce before he sets her down to greet the other Eevees. She dances around and chirps greetings to them all, but seems to gravitate toward Evie and Evan. They smell familiar!

Kaiba watches this with a little smile, walking over to greet Radley. ]

This is Selene. Like you said, she's the easiest of the young ones I've raised so far. How's business going for you?

[Radley has to smile at the ribbon. He wouldn't have expected something that cute from Seto Kaiba.

Evie and Evan are very happy for the recognition and hurry to their daughter, nuzzling her. Kiryu comes over too, wanting to meet his sister.]

She's beautiful. She looks really happy.

[Radley films the Eevees as they talk.]

Business has been good. People here like the Eevee Cafe set-up, and the Eevees love the extra attention.

[He chuckles.]

Radley? It’s Bo-Katan.

I’m in Goldenrod City, I just need to know where to go.

Great! We're ready for you.

[He gives the address.]

I’ll be there soon.

[It takes some time but thanks to her pokegear she’s able to use the address and find her way there. The fully armored Mandalorian making her way over and looking up at the building she’s come to. Hopefully it’s the right place. A gloved hand raising to knock at the door.]

A sign above the door says The Eevee Cafe. At the knock, many Eevees start calling excitedly and scamper to the door. Radley opens it while trying not to hit any of them with it. "Hi," he smiles. "Come on in!"

She's back! Walking into Radley's cafe, she's carrying two eggs, one in each arm. One of them quite a big bigger than the other.

"Radley? It's Bo. I can't stay long but I've brought your eggs."

Radley soon appears, Pokemon scampering at his feet and calling greetings. "Hey!" He smiles, then stares at the Lapras egg. "Wow. That is a big one." It makes sense, though.

If he looked out the window, he would probably see her Cyclizar sitting out there right where she parked him. A brand new saddle on his back. Also upon hearing Radley's voice, a fuzzy little head with two long ears poked out of Bo's bag. "Eeee!"

"Here, take them," Bo says as she tries to hand off the eggs to Radley.

"I also thought you might like to meet someone." Her gaze turning down to the tiny baby Eevee.

He does glance out, and smiles at the sight. Cyclizars are very cool. But his attention swiftly comes back to the scene inside. The little baby sweetheart is also very distracting, but he focuses on the eggs first.

"Of course." He takes them and smiles. "Thanks!"

The little Eevee has immediately captured his heart, and now he can look to them. "Aww, so cute! Hi there!"

His Pokemon crowd around to say Hi too! Evie bounces with excitement! "Eevee-vee!"

[Sometime this month Radley will receive a package at his doorstep. What's inside is a cake wrapped in red cloth as well as a pokedoll in the shape of an Eevee. A note is tucked into the the folds of the red cloth with elegant handwriting on it and an Eevee pawprint.]

I hope the season finds you and your pokemon well. This month I'll be traveling across Johto and I don't expect our paths to cross for awhile, so here's a token of my appreciation for and anyone you wish to share it with. It's called Uj'alayi and is a traditional Mandalorian dessert. I thought you might like it since you're in the food buisness. I also thought you or one of your Pokemon might like the Eevee doll. Burc'ya sends his love to his family as well.

Radley is intrigued, wondering if this is the fruitcake of Bo's world. It looks delicious. He smiles as he reads the note, and his Pokemon gather around to read it and admire the doll. Evie promptly starts rubbing it.

"We'll have to thank them right away," he smiles, petting her. "Let's try the cake, okay?"

They chorus in delight.

DING DONG THERE'S SOMEONE AT THE EEVEE CAFE

[ SEVERAL DAYS LATER....]

[ A tall skinny shadow fills the doorway of the Eevee Cafe. He's got a Murkrow on his shoulder and an umbrella in one hand. He turns and shakes it out on the sidewalk before stepping inside. ]

Anyone home?

[He will be immediately mobbed by happy Eevees who love visitors! They scamper over, calling in delight.

Radley laughs as he tries to pick his way through them.]

Hi there! Glad you could make it!

[ It's been a long time since Jack has seen so many of one Pokemon species all in one place! Maybe never, actually. Luckily, he's used to crowds so he happily crouches down, knees around his ears, and holds his hands out for them to sniff or lick or nibble or whatever Eevees like to do. He's not worried about them hurting him.]

[ Edgar, his Murkrow, shuffles from side to side on Jack's shoulder and peers down at all the Eevee's with one red judgmental eye. She's not sure about this. ]
