After taking another bite of the lasagna she gives the potatoes a try and oh they’re good. Cooked to perfection. Bo has to be careful not to be too giddy. It’s been awhile since she’s had anything this good thanks to her limited funds.

“I’m looking forward to raising one of your Eevees, though I admit I still don’t know what it’ll eventually be. Maybe I’ll just let it decide.”

[crystalmaster]

"Yeah, I think that's the nicest policy. Since that will be their form forever once they change, I feel like they deserve to make the decision," Radley says. "And some prefer not to evolve."

[mywayistheway]

“So the ones that have evolved under your care, how did they decide?”

She’s curious. Wanting to know what to expect and what to look for with her Eevee. Pokémon can’t talk and just tell you after all.

[crystalmaster]

"I'll ask them what they want to do, if they want to evolve. If they seem excited, I'll ask about each evolution until I hit on the one they want. If they're not into the idea, I drop it unless they tell me they've changed their mind and they're ready. We had a big disaster a few months ago and Fire Pokemon were needed. Levi let me know he wanted to help and he was willing to become a Flareon."

Levi cheers. "Flare!"

“I see. That seems straightforward enough. I may just have to keep one of each stone on hand just in case.”

And the ones that she didn’t use she could probably find use for eventually.

"That could get pricey, but it's a nice idea," Radley says. "I didn't plan on using the Fire Stone I'd acquired, but I'm glad I held onto it."

He has a point.

“All I have is a moon stone, and I don’t think Eevee evolves with that one.”

It’s something she will have to think about, and see how the Eevee feels about it. Buying all the stones might be pricey, but perhaps she could collect them over time.

"Yeah, I don't think so," Radley says. "That's more for Clefairies."

Evie chirps. She would like to play with Clefairies!

Clefairies?

[She has no idea what that is. She hasn't come across any of those yet.]

Well, I'm sure we will figure it out when and if the time comes.

They're pink Pokemon who like to dance around and sing under the full moon. Some people think they're aliens.

[Bo-Katan can't hide her amusement as she continues to enjoy the food.]

Everything here is alien to me. But if they like the moon, makes sense they would evolve with a moon stone.

[Radley smirks.]

Yeah, pretty much. I've heard weird stories about them trying to build spaceships and taking oddball things for them, like baby bottles.

["Eevee?" says Evie.]

[That makes Bo-Katan pause in the middle of taking a bite. Once its down she has to ask.]

Really? Do you think that's real?

[Granted from the sound of it "trying" might be the key word there.]

Maybe. It could just be tabloid nonsense. It's hard to say.

[Bo-Katan just hums thoughtfully because if it was true... that would be very... INTERESTING. Being a space lady herself.]

Well... anyway. I'm more focused on finishing these gym challenges than chasing myths. I recently beat Falkner and will be going back to Azalea to challenge Bugsy once we're done here.

She's pretty infamous for bawling like a baby and throwing a tantrum if she loses.

[He'd probably have fun mocking her if he ever encountered her in an immature mood.]

Well that's something to look forward to. Not. Bo-Katan just sighs and rolls her eyes. What kind of master trainer is such a petulant child?

I really wish I was. I wonder myself why they don't kick her out. You'd think there'd be some code of conduct for gym leaders, but it seems like they all do their own thing.

[mywayistheway]

[All Bo-Katan can do is just shake her head at that.]

Atleast I know what to expect from her.

[And she is just loving this food. It doesn't take her long to clean her plate. Or her Pokemon for that matter.]

I guess that's something. I wonder how many have been unpleasantly surprised.

[His Pokemon have been happily eating too.]

[Once she's done, she simply sits back and waits for everyone else to finish.]
