[Evie's ears droop at that.

Radley smiles at Jack.]

These Eevees are spoken for, but we've got some eggs if you'd like to raise one from an egg.

[quickattackjack]

[ He looks up and gives Radley a nod. ]

It's been a long time since I've hatched an egg. Have the techniques changed at all?

[crystalmaster]

I don't think so, but how did you do it?

[He just wants to make sure.

He picks up Evie and gives her some extra love, seeing she's sad. Evie nuzzles him.]

We have a spot next to the fireplace perfect for eggs.

[crystalmaster]

[Radley nods.]

Warmth is definitely important. We also like talking and singing to the eggs.

[quickattackjack]

[ Jack brings a finger to his chin, his brows lifted. What a brilliant idea. Being a skeleton, he knows more about death than ushering in new life.]

What a great idea...tell me, what kinds of songs do they like? Do they like stories? I could tell the egg the scariest of tales--but would they understand them?

[crystalmaster]

Well, we've mostly tried happy songs and stories. I don't know if they'd understand scary ones or not.

[quickattackjack]

We'll have to see, then...may I see the eggs?

[crystalmaster]

Sure. Come on in.

[He smiles and starts down the hall to the incubation room. The Eevees trot along happily.

In the room, some eggs are in incubators while others are being warmed by Eevees. They look up sleepily and warble Hello.]

[Jack follows. When the Eevees greet him, he can't help but chuckle. What chipper Pokemon Eevees are! He wouldn't mind if his Umbreon ended up the cheerful sort, so long as it could put on a good act when showtime came around. ]

All this Eevee breeding must keep you busy.

[crystalmaster]

[Radley pets some of the Eevees warming eggs.]

It does, but it's worth it.
